A fun, minimalist wedding

Minimalist Wedding Ideas

With a chic Watters dress and blush succulent florals

A chic, minimalist dress from Wtoo by Watters headlined this simple, joyful celebration

A simple and elegant blush palette was selected for the florals and a dusty blue for the bridesmaids. No amount of English summer rain was going to stop this couple from enjoying the natural beauty of their chosen venue. Sheer joy and huge amounts of fun were the main characteristics of this celebration!

A Mapperton Wedding

At Dorset’s finest estate

A modern, relaxed, stylish wedding at mapperton estate

At their Mapperton wedding, this couple seamlessly blended an Orthodox crowning ceremony with their own modern, relaxed style.

Featuring a string quartet, personalised vows in front of the Orangery, cocktails around the fountain, a choreographed first dance, and a sunset shoot in the same spot where Far from the Madding Crowd and Emma (the one with Gwyneth Paltrow) were filmed.

With planning and co-ordination by Rosie Barrett Events.

Pennard House Wedding

Chinoiserie wallpaper, chandeliers and a courtyard plucked from an Italian piazza

Pennard House is a wedding venue in Somerset with fashion connections. It’s a beautiful, family-owned country estate, and the epitome of dreamy English elegance. Perfect for this relaxed but long-awaited wedding. With just 30 on the guest list it really had the intimate feel of an elopement in this tucked-away corner of Somerset.

French Style At The Almonry

Macarons & A French Couture Gown

The bride’s impeccable taste stole the show at her Almonry Barn wedding.

With sleeves crafted from exquisite Calais lace, and billowing skirts, Rachel’s dress was relaxed but stylish. Amber Persia’s florals were as luxe and lovely as ever, Anna Cake Couture created an elegant cake table, and delicious cuisine came courtesy of The Pickle Shack. Applying a light touch to the palette and style allowed my favourite Somerset wedding barn to shine, and made the perfect backdrop for this beautiful, happy day.

The French Connection

Destination Wedding At A French Farmhouse

“Flowers, wine and food in my Aunt’s garden in France” wrote the bride.

It all came together on the day for this completely gorgeous couple. Family was the key to their relaxed, beautiful couple of days at a family gîte in Lot-et-Garonne. From venues to catering to flowers to cake… family and friends spared nothing to bring the vision to life. And in the midst of it all they found energy to welcome and count me as part of the family.
