The White Barn threw open their doors again this Spring to welcome newly-engaged couples. A coral feast for the eyes was laid out across the barn, matched only by the bright pops and sparkle of Alice Temperley’s bridal offerings. Credits below.

Lace Wedding Dresses for the Fine Art Bride

Lace wedding dresses are as in vogue today as they were a hundred years ago. Today I just want to share my passion for all things lace when it comes to bridal dress design!

Lace is the epitome of timeless style. It transcends the traditional and redefines the modern.

Dresses can be designed so many ways, and lace works like a dream with other elegant fabrics such as silk and tulle. You can choose just a touch of lace, or go all-out for all-over lace! Strapless, backless, cap-sleeved, full-sleeved… Lace wedding dresses are surely here to stay. (Phew! that’s a relief for the lace-aholics and me.)
